Alexander's POV

I sunk deeper and deeper into the ocean, feeling my life seeping out of me.

Is this how I would die and Layla would be alone? I wondered and fear gripped me. I can't leave Layla alone in this wicked world.

I tried my best to stay alive, but each time I struggled I became more weak.

How did I end up in this situation? I thought.

I remember standing at the edge of the yacht, admiring my wife, as she enjoyed the view of the sea. I was glad I brought her here because I could tell that she really loved it.

It's a good way of celebrating our marriage anniversary. I smiled as I looked at her, then suddenly, I felt a metal object hit me. It pierced through my head and I felt the pain.

Someone had shot me? I thought. How come I didn't notice? My face contorted into a frown of displeasure. This is unlike me. I was always alert.
