Alexander's POV

The driver’s tone suggests that I'm being a coward, even though I didn't understand what they were talking about.

I have responsibilities to face, and using my memory loss as an excuse won't help. I need to take action and stop making excuses, instead of just sitting around feeling helpless.

“But how?” Layla asked, looking at me with great concern.

I never trusted her at first when she confessed to being my wife. I had thought she married me because of my status, but with the way she stood up against the old hag and with how attracted I felt towards her earlier, I couldn't doubt anymore.

“With your help,” I replied. “You will tell me everything about me, and you,” I pointed at Larry. “You will tell me everything about the company, showing me the pictures of the workers, their names and positions and how they got there.”

“Okay, boss.” He nodded. Then his face became sad. “Including the bad memories, boss?”

I hesitated for a while, “yes,” I nodded.
