Alexander's POV

The meeting grew more heated by the minute. "He's not your real father?" a shareholder asked, looking confused.

"What do you mean?" a bespectacled man demanded, slamming his fist on the table. "What's going on, Mr. Ryan King?"

My father smiled smugly at me. "Don't mind my ignorant son. He's lost his memories, so he's prone to saying nonsense. Don't believe a word he says. He's still my son, after all."

I felt a surge of anger at his words. How could he deny the truth like this?

"I'm telling you, he's not my real father!" I insisted. "And I have proof!"

The room fell silent, with all eyes on me. My father's smile disappeared for a moment before he regained his composure.

"Proof?" he repeated. "I'd love to see it."

I hesitated, realizing I had no proof.
