Alexander's POV

The woman dragged me out of the hall. I paused, snatching my hands away from hers. “What's going on woman?” I asked. She paused and looked at me, her eyes filled with tears and affection.

Who is this woman? And she says she knows my mother?

She touched my face, her soft hands, cold on my skin. “How time flies.” She said as tears flowed down her cheek and strangely, it broke my heart.

It felt like I had known her for a long time.

“Who are you?” I asked, looking suspiciously at her.

She smiled, “I just came to see you, Alex.”

I shifted away from her. “For what? I barely know you.” I started, furrowing my brows.

She wiped her tears with the back of her palm. “Your mother is alive, Alex and she needs you badly.”

I squinted my eyes. “What?” I thundered, not believing my ears.

Larry clearly told me that my mother was deceased when he was telling me about my past. “My mother's dead, woman. Get away from me!” I pushed her away and she staggered and fell to the ground.
