Ex-Husband, I Am Back To Hate You

"Barbara Weston, there's absolutely nothing you can do right! You can't even keep your husband not to even talk of giving me a grandson!... You're just a dead fish in a kettle" A woman was being lashed out by her mother in law.

She was slender with a slainted siren eyes. Her skin were as white as porcelain, her sight was truly a beauty to behold. But what was the usefulness of her beauty if she couldn't give the Lorenzo family a grand child?

She was arranged to marry Dexter Lorenzo, the country's most eligible and powerful bachelor by Riana Lorenzo, her mother in law.

Her mother in law was captured by her simple gestures. She found her to be a proper and well mannered lady, moreso she felt like her hips were wide enough to accommodate her grandchildren but unfortunately, Riana Lorenzo was also the same person rebuking her.

Barbara felt like she was lost in an unfortunate world. Everything was crumbling right in front of her.

"I'm ..I...." Barbara broke into tears. Unable to hold it anymore, she ran out of the Lorenzo's villa straight to the hospital to get her fertility test done.

After about thirty to forty minutes, the tests result was out. Barbara brought out her phone to call her husband, Dexter Lorenzo.

"I'm very busy. Don't call and disturb me if it's nothing important! That's it for now" He sounded cold and emotionless. He hung up before Barbara could say anything further. Barbara held unto the tests results, feeling as if her burning passion was frozen instantly.

Since they got married, Dexter was always very gentle to her. But recently, there was an abrupt change in Hus attitude, not only cold, even when answering her call, he was impatient, which made her wonder what caused such a drastic change in him.

With her mind preoccupied by her thoughts, Bar turned and saw a figure pop up beside her. "Sister!" A gentle voice called out.

When Bar looked over, she saw Emily Weston who was accompanied by a middle aged woman.

Bar frowned at the sight of Emily who was her father's mistress. With a look of contempt on her face, she retorted coldly. "Mind your words, I'm the only child my mother has ever given birth to"

Instead of getting angry by her reply, Emily merely beamed and asked gently, "Barbara are you here for your infertility check up again?"

"It's none of your business!"

"Aren't you going to ask me why I'm here at the pregnancy check up area?" Emily asked and raised her eyebrows at Barbara provocatively. She then chuckled and announced. "I'm pregnant with Dexter's child!"

Barbara only noticed her tiny bump right after she said this. All along, Emily had been very obvious about her feelings towards Dexter and always find ways to hook up with him before he married Barbara. However, Barbara merely sneered and replied, "Are you out of your mind?"

"You don't believe me? Well take a look at this!"

Emily flashed her check up report to Barbara and Bar's expression instantly changed when she saw the familiar handwriting on it. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Dexter's signature.

"I spent a dark night with him four months ago. He was such a beast and took me all nights. I was pregnant since then" Emily declared and grinned proudly. "He likes this child very much and asked me to keep him. You could step down after my child is born"

"You bitch!" Barbara roared and was filled with rage. Trembling with fury, she truck Emily across the face. Emily instantly fell to the ground as if she had been anticipating this. "Ouch my stomach!" She shrieked.

Barbara only slapped Emily on the face, but crimson red blood began to ooze our of her trouser the moment she fell to the ground. Barbara was taken aback a d could hardly believe what just happened.

The medical staff instantly rushed Lily off to the emergency room. Afraid to leave the scene, Barbara followed too after her.

After waiting outside the room for quiet sometime, Barbara heard the sounds of footsteps and when she glanced up, it was her mother-in-law, Raina Lorenz. Glancing at Barbara furiously, Raina asked, "What's going on? How did Emily end up in the emergency room?

"Miss Barbara... No, Mrs Lorenzo pushed her!" The middle aged woman who had been accompanying Emily answered.

"You bitch! You are a fruitless tree and yet you simply couldn't bear to watch others achieve what you've failed to, could you?" Raina shrieked and slapped her in the face. She was merciless with her slaps and Barbara's face began to swell up.

Earlier before, she thought that Emily was lying, but Raina's attitude explained everything.

A burst of despair grew in Barbara's heart and it felt so suffocating that she nearly passed out. But right at the moment, the door to the operating theatre opened and a nurse walked out to inform them that Emily had lost her babies.

Two babies?

Twins?
