Chapter 120: Yours

“Director,” the Doctor greeted, followed by the two nurses behind him as soon as she opened the door.

Margaux blinked several times before she forced herself to shift her gaze to the couple of people right in front her.

“Doc, come in..” she said as she stepped sideways.

As the Doctor and nurses entered the room, her gaze went back to the person outside. Her eyes narrowed at him but the latter didn't flinch and just stared at her with a very serious expression.

She scoffed and turned around to look at Josh and his parents, “I'll just stay here outside,” she muttered.

“No need to step out, Margaux. You can stay here.." Mrs Garcia gently stated.

But she quickly shook her head, “I will come back immediately, I just saw a friend..” she said.

She discreetly cringed at the word ‘friend’ but she couldn't tell them what she was planning to do. It was her business and as much as possible, she just wanted to keep the information about her and Hendrix to her extended family only.
