Chapter 122: Crazy

“Are you crazy?!” Margaux hissed and squirmed from his embrace. “Let go of me!”

“Yes, I think I'm already crazy,” Hendrix responded.

Her body shivered upon hearing that but she kept her heart guarded. She won’t be swayed by his flowery words, as she was sure it only came to his nose and didn’t really mean it.

Hendrix probably forgot that she chased him for two years so she knew he was not capable of saying such things. All he knew was to reject women. And the only words coming out from his mouth were nothing but rude and harsh. Although she never heard him cussed, she was pretty sure it was part of his daily life. That’s how he was, not the person he was trying to portray as of the moment. And that was also the reason why she was certain he had a hidden agenda regarding his fake chasing.
