chapter Three

Oh Amber,How could you be so clumsy,you had just one job,to bring out his inner wolf to mate with you,what did you do?you end up injuring yourself and making a mess!oh Amber, you have ruined everything, everything, Luna Williams vents on her pretty daughter .

Mom, you told me to go to him ,I didn't know what happened,then I saw myself on the floor,I still tried to kiss him but he pushed my face away,Amber said.

Amber,you could have done better, if he doesn't make you his luna,do you know where that leaves  Hilly pack and our family?,for Selene's sake,we should be next respectable pack after them,we need to make this happen, dearest Amber,after you are attended to, you need to get him to be interested in you before he leaves tomorrow. 

Mom,I have fractured ankle and shoulder , I should be resting even though I would love to squeeze the back of his neck while I am kissing him,Amber said dreamily.

Do whatever you can and stop dreaming,  luna Williams said and stomped off.

 Luna Williams  met her husband Alpha Williams  in his library  and told him how Amber has foiled their plans of  getting Edmund to make her his mate by awakening his inner wolf so that Edwin lay claim to her by claiming her through a kiss even after she gave her a potion to make her scent so irresistible to Edwin rather Amber came back with injuries instead of a mate,if we don't get him interested in you before he leaves,it's never going to happen!

Honey,in as much as I want this as you do ,I wouldn't want us to force our sweet daughter into something she may no like,Alpha Williams says to his wife.

Come off it Williams, Amber has never been known to make her own decisions, she is too low for that,luna Williams replied. 

What do you want me to do?,Alpha Williams asked.

You ask Edwin to spend some time with Amber before he leaves, I will spray her to increase her wolf scent ,maybe then,he will take interest in her,replied luna Williams. 

Consider it done.

After talking to her husband, luna Williams went into the courtyard to take a walk,she saw Rose among the flower bed,she was sniffing the purple lavender,lost in its scent that casted a sweet smile across her face,luna Williams became angry and stomped towards her muttering under her breath,when she got to we where Rose stood, she spoke "how dare you try to take your sister's man,I saw what you did at dinner last night, throwing yourself at him and dotting over him,you cheap human!. 

Immediately, Rose was jolted back to reality, she opened her eyes and her mom  was right in front of her venting,when she opened her mouth to speak, her voice was shaking and hardly audible, no mother,I did not throw  myself at anyone,I don't know what you are talking about. 

You knew that Edwin, son of Alpha Darius is supposed to be attracted to Amber but you had to come into the picture and spoil everything, their marriage is suppose to strengthen our ties and secure our family financially, now it's ruined because of you,luna Williams accused Rose.

I didn't mean to upset you mother,am sorry,Rose replied. 

You better fix this and get him to be interested in Amber,Edmund does not deserve a beta like you for a wife,fix this Rose, she turned and began walking back into the the building. 

   Rose tried so hard within her to remember when she threw herself at him or did anything of the things her mother accuses her of but she could no recall any. It was at that point she realized that he was the one that rode a horse last night and introduced himself to her,with that realization came a surge in her body and a yearning within her. She is going to tell him to look towards Amber her sister as she is not worthy of him,she told herself as she walked back into the house. She headed straight to the kitchen to help the other servants prepare breakfast, she will not seve him so that he wii then pick interest in Amber and leave her alone,she thought to herself. 

  Meanwhile outside,Edwin the grey one has joined the stable Boys in taking care of the horse especially untamed,he has become attracted to it as it reminds him  of the elegance and beauty that Rose carries ,it felt as if his  heart is going to jump right out of his body as he thought of her. He was determined to  make her his luna else he would have no other.

   Rose went upstairs into her room so she can. Hange into her house shoes,a force pulled her to the window in her room facing the stable,lookin out, there he is,half clothed with nothing but a trouser hugging his waist and his upper body bar with sweat glistened on it as his shine with sweat too,she swallowed so hard that anyone standing within a distance would have heard, she became transfixed as if with impulse Edwin  turned immediately towards her direction and their eyes locked, he forgot he was holding the horse harness until the tugging at it brought him back to reality and immediately,          Rose hurriedly retreated to the kitchen. 

In the kitchen,Rose met the servants already preparing what is needed  for breakfast, she decided to make her mother's coffe just the way she likes it,just as she set the stove on fire,Martha one of the kitchen servants who is the same age as Rose ,hugged her from behind and she whispered into Rose ear “he will make a good Alpha,you will make a good luna”,with that said she removed her hand from Roses’ waist,as Rose turned to look at Martha, her cheeks turned the color of pink and Martha nodded her head as she smiled and went back to her duty.

    Rose was shocked and surprised that even Martha noticed,she began to wonder how many people more would have have also noticed?,was she that shameless that she couldn't control how her wolf reacted and acted whenever He is mentioned or she saw him?,all these and more went through her mind, the whistling of the kettle pulled her mind back as she went to make Luna Williams coffee. 

   Alpha Williams  was getting ready to go down to the stable to meet  the with the Grey one and possibly convince him to be interested in Amber just to please his wife. When he got to the stable, he met Edwin cleaning untamed cobbles as the horse stood still without making a fuss. 

You must have a gentle hand for this one to be still while you groom him,Alpha Williams said to Edwin.

Yes,this one,I love his resilience alot,which makes me happy to work with him,Edwin replied.

It's the strong one from when it was brought to this stable,no one dared come close ,stomped 3 of my stable hands,Alpha Williams  said.

Edwin replied,he is lovely.

Alpha Williams being apprehensive about the task given h by his wife thought of how to present the it to Edwin without getting him angry,said to Edwin if he would love keep Amber company by the lake in the afternoon as part of her healing process from the injury she sustained last night.

Edwin wasn't surprised at the request of Alpha Williams, I might as well have my lunch by the lake,she can come along.

 I do appreciate, you are such a lovely  young every parent would want for their daughter, also Williams suggested in a complimentary form,He continued to speak on how close he has been to Alpha Darius since when they were teenagers and how they have hopes that their children will continue with the friendship by creating a family and a legacy for generations to come as it would make them both happy.

Edmund replied, your dreams are lovely,I will choose  my Luna when I meet her it will have nothing to do with family or friendship, it will be purely for love.

Yes,I quote agree ,I believe,Amber my daughter is a lovely lady who will make a good luna especially for a pack as Silverstone.  I and her mother, luna Williams had it in mind while grooming her for a husband sick as you ,as we understand the burden that rests with being an Alpha.

I do not need a conventional traditional wife as a luna,Selene will give your daughter her mate ,that's not me,Edwin said to Alpha Williams with a smirk on his face.

See you at the breakfast table, I will be on my way,with that said, Alpha Williams went back to the house and narrated all that happened to his wife who became more apprehensive about Amber not being Edwin  luna. 

Luna Williams went straight to Amber's room and instructed the servants to bring her down for breakfast, after which they should make sure she is seductively dressed for lunch by the lake with Edwin. 

I am a luna, my daughter Amber will be the wife of Edwin Darius , the grey one,son of Alpha Darius, the next Alpha of Silverstone pack.
