Chapter Forty

Dennis walked out of Kelsey's room and headed to the garage. He opened his car trunk, dropped a toolbox in it and drove away.

He drove into the woods and parked the car in front of a bungalow. Two men were standing at the entrance and when they spotted Denni's car approaching, they hurried to meet him.

"Good morning boss!" the men chorused and slightly bowed their heads before Dennis.

"Is he in there?" Dennis demanded and stepped out of his car.

"Yes, boss."

Dennis pulled the toolbox and passed it to them. They took the lead and walked Dennis into the torture room. When they got into the room, they turned the lights on.

Cole was sitting on a stool at the centre of the room with his hands tied behind him. Immediately the lights came on, he lifted his head slowly and groaned but his groan was suppressed by the cloth covering his mouth.
