Chapter 60

All through the ride home, no one spoke. Dennis had his gaze fixed on the road with both hands on the speedometer while Kelsey kept looking through the window by her left.

Dennis didn't start up a conversation because he assumed that Kelsey is tired and engaging in small talk wasn't his thing.

Kelsey on the other hand was pissed that Dennis didn't inform her about the upcoming Olympics games. From his gestures, she could tell that he wasn't going to allow her to participate. She assumed that his father's wish of having her trained by him was not going to come true.

Dennis pulled the car to a halt by the water fountain after he drove into the mansion. He stepped out of the car and hurried inside. Kelsey's heels were clicking behind him.

They got to the living room. Dennis took off his jacket and held it in his right hand. "I'll see you tomorrow," he said after glancing at his wristwatch.
