Peter helped Kelsey get off the floor. "Yes, Kelsey. Where did you learn how to fight like that? Don't you dare tell me you're an amateur?" Peter warned while pointing a finger at her.Kelsey smiled and turned to the crowd. They were all waiting for her to speak. Their faces carried surprised expressions and they were dying to feed their craving ears.She sighed and slumped on the ring ropes. "Fine, I'll tell you guys how I learnt to fight once Peter and I are done."*******Dennis threw his briefcase at the back seat and jumped onto the driver's seat. He just got a call from the council members that an emergency meeting was fixed.The council normally hold their meetings in one of the chambers within the training house. Dennis glanced at his wristwatch and fixed his gaze back on the straight path ahead.Since Kelsey is having her first official training in the training house at the moment, he might stride to the arena to check on her but that will be after his meeting, he concluded.

Kesley seemed so stunned for words, she couldn’t believe what Dennis was saying. How could he ask her to stop practicing with Peter. Wasn’t he the same person who said she could practice with anyone.“I didn’t hear you properly Dennis, what did you say?” She asked calmly, hoping that she probably heard him wrongly.Dennis straightened up on the chair and placed his right hand under his jaw. “I said I want you to stop practicing with Peter.”Kesley gave a slight cough and walked back to where Dennis is seated, she pulled out the chair adjacent him and sat down carefully, her confusion was boldly written on her face.“Why?” She asked.“Nothing at all, I just want you to stop practising with him.” Dennis replied scratching his hair as he spoke.Kesley didn’t believe him because it was obvious he was hiding something with how nervous he looked. “That isn’t a reason for me to stop practising with him, I mean why would I just stop practicing with Peter because of your supposed nothing?”“

Kelsey thought about taking her bath but she waved off the thought, she didn’t see the need to. After all, she didn’t have any plans for the day, she might as well take a rest. She danced lazily around her bed in search of her phone. She found it beneath her pillow, she didn’t remember putting it there but it was not a surprise, she had misplaced a lot of things in the past because of her foggy memory. She grabs the phone from the bed and hit the music.She sang along and swayed her hips to the beat of the music. She was not happy that she had to quit training because of Denis' bazillion reasons but she might as well make good use of her free time. Still moving her body to the sweet tunes of the music she was playing, she made it to the kitchen and made herself a cup of hot cocoa.She sipped from the cup slowly, savouring the transcendent taste of each sip, she took each sip so slowly and calmly like a goddess that was in no rush to do anything. Peter broke the hug and Denis glared at him.“We’re here to train, not appease to people with bruised egos.” Denis said grabbing Kelsey's by the arm. Peter ignored his rude remark and turned to face Kelsey.“Good luck girl.” He said and patted her shoulders not moving from where he stood.“Thanks, I’m gonna need it.” Kelsey replied eyeing Denis. She shot Peter a pleading look, apologizing for Denis' behavior, Peter got the message and gave her an ‘it’s okay, I understand' look. It’s fascinating how people communicate just by looking at each other. Maybe one day, she’ll look at Denis and he’ll know what she’s talking about without having to ask.Denis dragged Kelsey away from Peter roughly, unintentionally hurting her wrist with his strong grip.“let me go.” Kelsey winced and Denis immediately let go of her arms.“You didn’t seem to have a problem when he was holding you.” Denis said quickly in defense and folded his arms like a child. They got to the health center and Peter flung the door of the room open. Denis laid Kelsey on the bed gently and left the room so he could let the doctors tend to her.“She’ll be fine.” Peter said patting his brother on the back. He was shaking in worry. Denis nodded slowly, his eyes darting from one end of the wall to the other as he paced back and forth in a frenzy. About forty minutes later, the doctor came out of the room.
