Willow

I fold my arms across my chest, tucking my freshly healed hands into my armpits as I stare out the window. Zane had brought me back to the house when the Doctor was happy to see that I had healed.

The skin was still tight and they hurt if I overstretched my fingers or clenched my hand. Though I still didn’t understand why I couldn’t heal on my own. What made Zane so special that he could help me to heal?

“Are you going to say anything?” Zane asks

“I’m thinking.”

“I can see that. Do you care to share what you are thinking about?”

I give him a side glance to find that he is staring at me. Shaking my head, he sighs.

“I had to kill them, little wolf. Did you really think I was going to let either one of them walk away from my prison unharmed? The only reason I was keeping them alive was to get answers for you. Cara hurt you. They both did. As a result, they were punished.”
