What was happening to me?

I walk away from Zane and the mirror, sitting on the edge of the bed I frown. He follows me and using a warm hand forces me to look up at him. “Get some rest.”

“I don’t need to rest.” Pushing his hand away, I scowl at him in annoyance.

“I’ve shown you the picture, Willow. It’s not blue, it’s not raised.”

“Then tell me why, when I look in the mirror that’s what I see. I’m not imagining it and I’m not tired.” I mutter in frustration

“I don’t have another answer for you.”

“So you expect me to believe that I’m seeing things? What about the little shocks of electricity that keep firing up my spine? Am I supposed to be imagining that too?”

He turns away from me and moves to the door.

“I’m not mad.” I whisper. I sounded just like my friend Layla, days before they shot her.

“I never said you were, little wolf.” He closes the door and turns back to me. “Tell me everything. When did it start?”

He listens to me carefully, asking random questions about odd detail

Maybe her wolf knows more than she does or she has to shift in order to unlock whatever her something that’ll make sense to her.
