...

In the midst of chaos all around me

You are my only salvation.

...

From the bottom of his heart, Boar felt a fear he had never felt before. He screamed, held his face and staggered back, blood dripping all over the floor. Even his subordinates were stunned into silence. From breaking the bottle, to attacking him and saying those words, it didn't even take her up to a minute.

Then she took off her heels and stepped directly on the floor barefooted. The floor was filled with shards of the bottle she just broke and the ones that had been broken earlier. Without any change in her expression, she leisurely walked closer to him, the shard in her hand dripping blood. The whole bar was quiet except for the sound of flesh tearing as the broken shards on the floor embedded into her skin. She left a trace of blood every step she took and Boar was frightened into peeing his pants directly. Her blood mixed with the wine from the bottle she broke forming a very bright red mixture that flowed to his feet. He felt like he had seen a monster, and right before she got to him, his subordinates reacted and all rushed to her together. Then the other waiters and waitresses that had also been quiet also reacted and instantly joined the battle. That day, out of the twenty or so men he brought with him, none of them could walk back home without support, not even him.

That day, she had dealt with about ten of his men all on her own, and with a simple broken shard, she cut off his long hair that he had always been proud of.

"The other time when you asked one of my people to clean your shoe with her hair, I had an idea. Since you've destroyed my bar this much, I need something to clean it, and it's only fair for me to demand a cleaning tool from you, so I will reluctantly use your hair."

He had never cried so embarrassingly as he did that day. In the end, after that day, he never dared to keep a single strand of hair on his head again. In fact, he developed a psychological reaction to long hairs so much so that he ordered all his subordinates never to keep their hair again.

After that day, she got the codename, Blood.

End of Flashback...

"Baldie, you've been touching your face for so long now. Is your scar itching?" It was still that same voice, that same frequency, unhurried, emotionless. But it was with this same expressionless face and calm voice that she had given him a seven centimeters deep scar across his face and had said,

"As long as you can bear the consequence"

Although Boar was scared shitless at first, he regained his confidence. If he didn't have a backbone in the first place, he wouldn't have dared to go against her and schemed to chase them away from Westrock. So his dignified look returned to his face as he snorted.

"Don't worry about me, Blood. Worry about yourself. Your time in Westrock is over. All of us in Westrock involved in underground business are here. I wonder if you would like to go against us."

"Yes, Jaw's Wolf or what are you guys called-"

"Wolf's Jaw" A slim woman behind Aria who hid timidly behind her huge glass frame whispered stubbornly in-between.

"Yes, baby-face. We know. All in all. Your reign is over. Isn't it guys?"

"Yes"

"Of course. The business has stopped flowing smoothly since their arrival"

"Two tigers cannot stay in a mountain. One has to leave for the other."

"I agree with you." Suddenly, the hall became quiet again.

"What do you mean?" someone finally snapped back to his senses.

"I said I agree with you guys" a very familiar emotionless voice resounded again. "Don't you guys think two tigers shouldn't stay in a mountain together? I couldn't have agreed more. We have to let all those inferior people who think they are something special leave Westrock completely. And there is only one way to know the inferior ones. Through strength."

"So my brothers and sisters in woe and arms, my suggestion is, let's have a showdown. And the winner, rules Westrock. What do you say?"

"D-don't fall for her tricks. She's trying to divide us. She's-" Boar stuttered, panicking.

"Baldie, are you forgetting something? You are not brothers who are ‘united in all’. You are gangsters. Gangsters. Everyone here is. So what are you afraid of? Isn't this what you do? Fight, kill, and fight again. What are you afraid of? Or.." she suddenly looked up and coldly swept her gaze over everyone present,

"Is it that you guys are so cowardly you can't even fight for your place on top, content with being led around by a good for nothing baldie?"

"Who is cowardly? Your grandmother is cowardly!" Someone suddenly interjected from the crowd.

"Really? What do you think? That my grandmother will jump into trousers, come here, and start killing all of you? She's already so old, can she not be cowardly?"

"Y-you, you-"

"Me what? Be fast, what do you have to say? I still have a fight to start."

"Shameless!"

"And?"

"Ridiculous. Don't you want to fight? Who is afraid of you, bring it on!"

"Yes, aren't you too confident? Everyone, let's show them who is king!"

"Yes, fight!"

"Finally." Finally, Aria felt everything wasn't so boring anymore. Then everyone went quiet. "Huh? What happened? Aren't you guys going to fight?" She looked around and then she seemed to understand. It looks like these bunch of idiots need a driving point. She shook her head and then called out,

"Atue!"

"Yes, Chief!"

"Fire."

"Yes!"

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang*

There were three successive loud gunshots and the three people he shot fell down dead immediately. Then Aria looked at their shocked faces, "What? Don't you guys want to fight? I started fighting, so, what's with those looks?"

"Blood! You dare? I will kill you today!" Suddenly, Beer, whose secretary was just shot, burst out and shot at Aria. But Aria dodged and the bullet went straight to the forehead of Cari, the head of Death Gang. His subordinates didn't even know how their leader died, they just saw his lifeless body and the bullet hole in his forehead. Then they went crazy, and crazily shot at Beer and his Rookies. And then, the fight started.

A guy named Joe among them wasn't reconciled, he happened to spot the guy who snatched his girlfriend from him so he shot at him. The guy he shot happened to be one of Boar's henchmen, and one of his friends saw him being killed, then he attacked.

Everyone found one reason or the other and crazily attacked one another. When they found out they ran out of bullets, they dropped the guns and directly attacked with their hands. Everyone there were gangsters who are trained in the art of fighting so they weren't afraid they would lose out to anyone.

The scene quickly became bloody and the hall soon became cramped so they immediately moved out to the open space in front of the hall. The hall was built in a very secluded place to accommodate such meetings in the first place, so they weren't afraid the police would get to them in time.

Aria watched on coldly, without a change in her expression. As expected, all they needed was a little push, and they directly turned back and started biting each other. She directly grabbed a guy who aimed a shot at her and twisted his neck. Another bullet grazed her arm and she directly broke that person's arm, took his gun, and shot him directly.

The sound of gunshots was deafening. Blood flowed, people wailed and those who wanted to keep fighting kept fighting.

Personally, as a werewolf, Aria didn't like fighting with guns, she would have preferred to use her jaws and claws but living in the human territory has its own disadvantage for werewolves, they didn't dare to shift. So, as a replacement, Aria would rather fight with her fists, although it was very dangerous in a place where bullets are flying all around like flies.

But even as a werewolf with superhuman speed and strength, after fighting repeatedly for more than two hours, she was extremely tired.

One of her shortcomings is her super hearing. Her hearing is very sharp so the sound of the gunshots always gave her a headache, distracting her, and making her reveal flaws. After fighting repeatedly for three hours, Aria was covered in wounds and most of her men were the same.

"Chief, how about we retreat? We can always come back and fight them later after we've recovered. We're werewolves and will recover faster than them. Since both sides suffered heavy casualties this time. It will take a long time for them to recover, and we will take that time to attack these sneaky humans. What do you think?"

"It's not impossible"

"Good. Then I will-"

"But I don't like procrastinating." Immediately, Aria took a gun from one of the corpses lying around and started shooting. She felt like she couldn't drag this fight on any longer or all the sacrifices her wolves had made will be in vain.

But suddenly, her wolf, which has always been quiet and hadn't moved for years suddenly moved, it suddenly grew restless and a bad premonition grew in her heart. Something snapped in her heart. And the still, frozen lake was disturbed. A crack appeared and something seemed to be calling out to her. In the field of countless people, corpses, guns, fights and blood, someone stood out, and the moment she locked her eyes on him, he looked back at her.

His eyes seemed to penetrate her, demolish all her walls and enter her heart directly. The frozen lake was disturbed and it began to ripple. Her wolf couldn't calm down and she couldn't describe where this emotion came from, but she knew clearly, one thing,

"Mate" Her wolf whispered.

She found her mate.

...Here you are,To fit in the missing puzzle,I've been missing all along....In a beautiful and dimly lit room, a man stood straight with his back to the light. The dim light provided by a table lamp carelessly placed on the bedside table cast a strange and distorted shadow of him on the floor. The assistant behind him squinted at the shadow, tracing it all the way to the man's shoes before looking up. Because of how dark the room was, she couldn't see his face clearly. But she could clearly see his face outline. It was sharp, straight and cold. Perhaps the dim lighting further enhanced her imagination, but she suddenly felt cold all over. The weather was warm these days and the A.C. is clearly not on but the temperature in the room continued to drop several degrees with each passing minute until the frequency of the silence was disturbed by a deep, distant voice.
