Chapter 65

I woke up early in the morning, feeling restless. After my recent experience, I found it hard to sleep properly, and my mind always wandered to the worst-case scenarios. I took deep breaths to calm myself down and opened the window to let some fresh air in. As I looked outside, I saw Julian walking toward our house with a serious expression on his face.

I quickly got dressed and ran towards him. As I approached him, I could see the worry in his eyes.

"What's wrong, Julian?" I asked, feeling a lump forming in my throat. These days, I try hard not to let the negative thoughts in my head win, but it’s getting increasingly difficult each minute. One minute I’m laughing, and the next minute I’m trying hard to be happy. It’s like clockwork that I don’t want to participate in.

"Nothing's wrong, my love," he said, taking my hand in his. I feel at home, with this man my whole life is complete and i don’t need anything else.
