Chapter 68

“Wait!” I screamed, my voice frantic, and they all paused.

“Sage needs my help; I can feel it. She’s in danger.” I muttered before changing course and heading back up the mountains, and They had no choice but to follow me.

As I headed back up the mountains, I felt a sense of unease growing in my chest. It was as though my intuition was trying to tell me something, something urgent. Shaking off the feeling is impossible and I feel like whatever happens next is on me and it’s my fault. I need to prevent this and the dark magic was stirring alive inside of me.
