Chapter 76

Maika walked in and that was when their whole plan clicked in her head. She had walked right into their plot and now she had no proof if they were even saying the truth. Yet she let herself be walked into whatever trap they were setting for her.

"Fucking cowards!" She cursed out, blaming herself for letting them fool her.

"If you are as strong as you claim to be, come out and let us fight in the open!"

"Finish with your mother first!" The faint reply came from outside making Maika jump in fear, she wasn’t expecting them to hear her after the door was locked nor give her a reply.

"Hopefully, you'll be ours to kill thereafter." The guard added after a dramatic pause and Maika scoffed and groped around, trying to find her way in the dark hall. Not a single ray of light was in the room.

She spread her palms out and she could feel another presence in the room. She wasn’t alone and she had a faint idea who the other person was.
