Chapter 64

I opened my eyes to a dimly lit room, feeling groggy and disoriented. Memories of what happened before I fell asleep came flooding back to me, and I sat up abruptly. Julian was sitting in a chair beside my bed, his eyes trained on me with concern etched on his face.

"Hey, you're finally awake," he said, his voice soft and soothing. "How are you feeling?"

"I feel like I've been sleeping forever," I muttered, rubbing my eyes. "What happened?"

"You've been out for three days," he replied, reaching out to place a gentle hand on my shoulder. "I've been taking care of you. You were exhausted after opening the portal."

I sighed, feeling grateful for him. Julian had been my rock throughout all of this, and I couldn't imagine going through it without him.

"Thank you for taking care of me," I said, looking up at him with gratitude. "I don't know what I would do without you."
