After what I witnessed at the cafeteria, I could no longer take Jessica's words out of my head.

She was standing right outside, almost like she saw the whole drama before me.

The mockery in her gaze, it was just intense.

"Ma'am!"

"Huh?" I shivered out of my thoughts on hearing the cab driver's loud call.

I looked his way and saw he had stopped driving.

"We're here, " He notified me.

I took a look at my window to see we have arrived outside Diego's company. The sight of the building brought his face into my mind, sending a warm feeling engulfing me from inside.

I couldn't wait to get in and see him.

"Thank you", I appreciated the driver while paying for my fee.

I opened the door and stepped out of the cab, staring at the building with my bag hanging across my shoulder.

With a sigh, I took my steps forward, approaching the entrance, and also trying my best to take out any negative thoughts.

The security at the entrance didn't hesitate to open the door when he saw me coming.
