I couldn't accept this.

What is happening?

While Dad and Mrs Parker were celebrating with Pedro, I pulled Carla away without their knowledge, taking her right outside.

"Diego, what's your problem?" She uttered, struggling to pull her hand out of my grip. But I didn't allow it.

Once I knew we where far from the house and away from anyone's interference, I turned Carla over, sparking out, " What the hell, Carla?! Engaged with Pedro?! Is this some kind of joke?!"

"No!" She responded, finally dragging her hand from mine.

"It's not a joke. I'm engaged to Pedro. We're going to get married after our school and..."

"STOP IT!" I roared, leaving Carla shivering before me at the tone of my voice.

My hands came wiping my face in frustration, wondering where or how to proceed with this.
