BLAIR'S POV

Brian had immediately taken me out of the restaurant, seeing that I was slowly losing my mind.

Whatever chokehold my parents had on him, I needed it in shreds, but I also required explanations as to why our wedding was null and my parents were aware the whole time.

Our drive from the restaurant was a quiet one. Brian seemed to have gotten dumb all of a sudden and I was fuming in anger.

I had my head resting on the window, looking out the entire one hour drive and thinking over and over about the incident with my parents.

I had only one thing on my mind the whole while,

“27th July, five years ago,”

Anytime I think we're making any progress, it's like Brian just goes over to the secret store to buy more secrets.

His past was a multi-layered wall and it was literally impossible to get to the end of it.

Upon our arrival at the house, we found Steven right in front of the mansion.

Brian hurriedly got down and moved over to Steven.
