BLAIR'S POV Brian had immediately taken me out of the restaurant, seeing that I was slowly losing my mind. Whatever chokehold my parents had on him, I needed it in shreds, but I also required explanations as to why our wedding was null and my parents were aware the whole time. Our drive from the restaurant was a quiet one. Brian seemed to have gotten dumb all of a sudden and I was fuming in anger. BLAIR'S POV I took to flight , shutting the door of the room behind me. I needed a few minutes to process. This was all too much. Lying almost motionless on the bed, I ignored every single call and every knock that came at the door from both Steven and Brian. My desire was to be left by myself. It felt like I was fighting a solo battle with life, a battle I was terribly losing. Where I laid, I had found comfort enough to sleep, but only for a short while. I got dragged back into consciousness by a heavy banging on the door. “Go away!” I yelled, “I do not wish to see anyone,” I buried my head in a pillow. “This isn't really about what you wish for l, Blair,” I had Brian replying. I rolled my eyes, ‘of course, it had never been about me,’ “We are going to come crumbling fast if we do not fix this,” Brian said, “and I cannot fix it without you,” he added. “You need to come downstairs,” “Steven has an idea,” he said‘Of course,’ My voice was as inaudible as possible. BLAIR'S POV It was now three days and Brian took my request to be alone pretty very far.All my efforts to call him, all my efforts to have a word with him proved abortive. His phone will not connect nor was there a single sign of him around the house since he turned his back on me. I grew extremely worried and also had ample time to think about it, about everything. Nothing else mattered, I just needed to see him to make sure he was fine. I would pick his hurting presence a million times over his absence. As I grew increasingly worried and paced our room from end to end, my phone came buzzing. “Hello,” I responded, skeptically, since I didn't recognize the caller ID and only hoped it was Brian. “Your fake husband is really testing his limits now, isn't he?” the voice of the caller came. BLAIR’S POVWe were now all set for our big day, again. I had begged to have a small ceremony, against Brian’s will to let the entire Winchester know that we were tying the knot for forever. On this fateful morning, I was standing right in front of the mirror, torn apart and broken. ‘The happiest day of my life,’ I often hear people describe, but this was the second time and yet, happiness was far from me. I stared at the mirror, feeling the sting of pain, betrayal, accompanied by a pinch of guilt, all summing up into uncertainty and fear. Brian and Steven had left for the registry and while I waited to be driven there, I couldn’t help question all of my life’s decision, up to this point. In slow steps, I moved over to the bed and stared out the window, as the vehicle drove in. ‘It is time, Blair,’ I thought. Nothing was to be compared with the amount of pain that overwhelmed me, leaving Brian waiting for my arrival. Just as I struggled to drown my thoughts, convincing myself that I had made the right choice, my phone came buzzing with Brian’s call. I stared at my phone ring and couldn’t find it in my heart to pick up. I didn’t know what to say.‘What was there to say?’ Brian’s calling persisted and when I was eventually worn out, I turned off my phone and laid in mourning. “She has to go back!” I heard shouting from a distance, “Why?” my father asked. I got out of bed and drew closer to their room, where their voices hailed from. “We did say she could return home if he didn’t want to sign the contract, so why is it a problem?” my father queried in loud voice. “Yes, we said that,” my mother replied, “But only because we believed that he loved her enough to want to k

BLAIR’S POV I was immediately pulled away from her, but that did not ease the pain in my heart towards her. I was angry and bitter towards my mother and could not stop blaming her for my father’s condition. The antecedent events were clear that they were both in sync, working towards making my life hell, but upon my return, my father showed some remorse and love towards me, unlike my mother. “Keep her away from us,” I yelled, creating a chaotic scene in the hospital. My hyperactive reaction and continuous crying caused me a terrible headache and I was soon developing a fever. All of Ashley’s effort to calm me down proved abortive and subsequently, I had to be sedated and held in the hospital. Upon regaining consciousness, I laid very weak in bed, still not recovering fully from the effect of the drugs. Tears flowed from my cheeks in endless streams, as my heart housed nothing but pain, regret and hatred. “Your phone would not stop ringing,” Ashley said, seeing I was now up.I

BLAIR’S POV “Who are you?” I finally pushed the door, questioning her last statement. She seemed shock to see me, and looking at her guilty face, confirmed a lot to me. “Start talking, you lying, deceitful serpent,” I yelled, “Blair, I would not have you speak to me like that, I am your mother!” she yelled back, “No, you’re not,” I replied. “Jane,” I called, “or is that even your real name?” I queried. She walked past me and right out of the room. Her words definitely left an impression on my heart, one I wasn’t going to let go of anytime soon, or ever. I began to ransack the room, finding something on this woman, who I was now sure was an imposter. In a short while, my mother was on her way back, aggressive with her footsteps. I had nothing on her yet, so I hurried to the door, locking it shut, leaving her outside. “You little brat! BLAIR’S POV I walked out of the room, with slow steps to the only place I knew I ever found peace- the attic. This was a lot, too much for me to take.I laid still in bed, staring at the ceiling with tears flowing down my cheeks. Clearly, I was a problem everywhere I went to and it went as far back as when I was born. All this while, I thought that my parents had been nothing but mean to me, but it turned out, my entire life was a lie. They were not my parents and while I thought they were being mean to me, they thought they were doing me a favor by keeping me alive. I didn’t know what to think or feel anymore. What was worse, was that I had no where else to go.
