BLAIR’S POV

I fought back, trying to loosen her grip on me.

“Last I checked, I do not report to you as the police,” I said.

Jane pulled out her I.D and flashed it across my face.

“Start talking, young lady,” She said.

“Why would I know anything about Jennifer’s boyfriend?” I asked, finally loosening her grip from my arm.

“But you were joyfully going down to report,” She said,

“Yes,” I yelled,

“I am going to take my chances and tell the police that I know you had something to do with Jennifer’s death,” I said, in her face and staring into her eyes, without fear.

“’Ha ha ha,” She laughed comically,

“Very funny, Blair,”

“Real classic,” She said.

We were both staring into each other’s eyes.

“Here I am, struggling to keep you for your dying father,” Jane said.

Hearing her call my father dying, was a major trigger for me and Jane was well aware.

“But then, here you are, with no atom of apology, pushing yourself to a quick grave,” Jane’s tone grew thicker and thicker.
