SYLVIA

"Mum! Mum!" The voice of my daughter awoke me as the brightness through the window shined directly towards my face.

"Mum, i'm ready for school. " She exclaimed with excitement revealed all over her face.

" Very well Lina, enjoy your first day at your new school. " I replied kissing her on the head as she hopped out to meet the maiden in charge of her where about.

My head slightly banged as I tried seating upright, then I recalled the moment from last night, I smiled laying backward as the thoughts of every thrust and romance played through.

"My love for you renews daily."

His words softly played in my head as I smiled even more wider letting my jaw ache.

A knock banged my door prompting me up from my thoughts. I adjusted myself in my nightwear as I headed for the door with heist.

" It's Bryan! " The Alpha exclaimed as i peeped through the door and opened, he smiled a while then a normal expression.

" Heard you arrived the pack yesterday, so I came to ensure your comfort was granted. " He added words again as we both smiled.

" Of course it was granted and for that I'm grateful. "

I replied opening the door wider directing him in. My heart beat quite tensed as he walked in.

He sat at the edge of my bed as I sat beside in slight distance. Why does he look so handsome today? I thought letting a faint smile as we both stared a while.

" I would grant an offer to you, Sylvia concerning the pack recovery. " He exclaimed with a sympathetic look, I could tell his weakness already.

" What offer would that be? " I replied with interest.

" I would offer a large potion of my pack to you, and quite a number of maidens and best warriors who would serve you. " He exclaimed looking directly into my eyes, he rubbed both hands of his against each other, I could perceive fear.

I remained silent for a while bending my head to my laps, I knew I had to do something to make them believe I had the power to cure the pack, but then would I heal the pack? Never you must pay for what you did to me. I thought to my self, furrowing my brows still with a bent head.

" Very well then I would get to work right away, but then I'll let you know what I'll need in return. " I exclaimed letting a faint smile as he nodded in acceptance, he got up to his feet, smiled again and walked out with no more words.

" Hahaha..." I laughed in mockery as I paced my study in my room few minutes after he left, I wrapped my hands against each right on my chest as I paced through and fore pondering in thoughts.

It was already my second day of using my herbs to cure few pack members in order to prove to the Alpha that his pack can be cured.

I knew I had to discuss my current plans with Simon, but he had been absolutely unavailable. We barely crossed path neither did I have any idea why and what must have kept him pretty occupied.

I sat in the woods as I sank in numerous thoughts. Few pack members who worked in the farm passed bye I could tell, they've got their eyes on me.

"Miss Sylvia right? " A maiden exclaimed as she stood before me, she looked pretty and charming yet I believed she must be one of the alpha's royal maids.

" Yes it is, how can I attend to you? " I questioned as she squatted before me in her white long dress.

" Thank you for curing my sister's illness, she's recovering real quick. " She exclaimed with prostrate and then kissed my hands. " I felt it was necessary to show my gratitude to you. "

I smiled warmly as she exclaimed again. My heart sank in empathy as I stared at her yet, rage had the larger part of me.

"Your gratitude is accept, I hope she recovers well, get up and leave my dear. " I replied lifting her hands up as she stood up and left my presence.

I feel so Sorry, for I would have to do worst than I have already cured and y'all would lose, friends, loved ones and family. I thought to my self letting out a smirk as my brows furrowed and I clutched my fist in anger.

The atmosphere had already got quite cold as the sunset, I had to return to the pack house cause, Lina would have returned back from school already and wonder where her mother was.

They pack seemed quiet as I walked into the pack house.

"Hey Sylvia. " The voice of Alpha Bryan called me out as I was about entering Lina's room. I could feel a freeze at heart for a while. Then I turned slowly as he stood few steps away.

"Ohh Alpha good evening! "

"Evening Sylvia, I came earlier on to see you but then I was told by your maids you stepped out. " He exclaimed warmly, staring charming. " Do you mind we talk in for a minute?" He added directing his hands towards his room as I nodded in agreement.

"The members you cured the last time are strong and healed again. "

The Alpha exclaimed with gratitude as I walked into his room, I could feel My heart beeping. How doesn't he recognize me after many days of being in same territory? I questioned my thoughts with mockery as I smiled out.

"LSave your gratitude cause more disaster shall befall again in full fold.More Words mumbled in my head as I stared back at him.

"So my offers still remains open for you Sylvia, just incase you still want to consider. " He exclaimed pacing through his room as I sat on a stool next to his bed.

" Indeed I would consider it when necessary, but for now there's more work to be done in the pack. " I responded, pretending to be someone I wasn't. "I can't stay much longer here." I thought to myself cause Lina might be worried not seeing me since she got back.

"I'm sorry I need to leave Lina must be worried about me. "

I blurted standing to my feet i was about exiting when he held my hands. My heart seized and goosebumps popped all over me.

He pulled quite closer to me as he stared into my eyes, his breathe blew warmly on me, I couldn't tell what he was about doing, but we were almost brushing our lips against each other.

My heart seized the moment a knock banged in.
