CHAPTER 005

Sylvia

I turned back as I watched the alpha's retreating steps, then I smirked.

“I will make you all pay for what you did to me” I murmured my words nearly above a whisper, staring at him with so much pain yet pleasure.

I smiled as I felt shivers and goose of revenge run down my spine. I giggled then went into my spacious room which welcomed me with the familiar scent.

The room was quite spacious, I sat on the bed as I giggled happily. I'd return to the pack soon and will be able to fully take my revenge showing no mercy like they showed me no mercy.

I felt chills run down my spine, I am so excited, “Alpha Bryan, it's been a while” I chuckled wickedly, "I need to save my pack members and my warriors" I laughed out in mockery mimicking his words again.

As I shut my eyes, the memories of that day flashed back to me. A drop of tear left my eyes but I wiped it immediately. I remembered how happy I was that day, filled with extreme joy and pride, even though I wasn't the most presentable yet my confidence was high, only for me to be disgraced eventually.

I remembered how he used to tell me of his love for me, and that he'd accept me no matter what but all that hope went down the drain for a bet.

I lost my virginity for a stupid game, I sacrificed every since bit of love for his sake, how more can I forgive such betrayal and disgrace.

He made me feel loved, but yet a bet and a public disgrace to the entire pack. "do you think I would cross my feets and let you live in peace? Never you deserve every bit of pain and agony. "

The dare, the laughter of all those that were present, my step mom and her daughter. Even Bryan wasn't excluded, but I won't let those butter experience way me down.

My mind has been made, and I'd get my revenge till the end and on all those that were present. Bryan will pay so dearly for what he did, he would beg at my feet for mercy.

I clenched my fist as I felt the surge of anger rush through me, I got up from my bed then sat back again angrily.

It was the old Sylvia that would cry all day long and hate life's treat, but the new me wouldn't because the new me thirst for revenge.

“I won the dare” his voice hit me so hard as more tears filled my eyes.

His voice sounded so loud in my ear and I gulped in anger. I shut my eyes tightly as I fought back my tears, “Sylvia you won't” I said to myself. I then smiled as I wiped my tears away.

I was now stronger and bolder, I'm not the Sylvia who begged him to accept me..I'm the Sylvia who screams revenge at its peck.

His words hit me again and again, but yet I kept smiling. "I, Prince Bryan Charles, reject you... Sylvia, whatever your surname is as my mate."

“I, Sylvia Sky, reject you Bryan Charles” I said as I finally fell on my bed.

I was already deep in thoughts when I heard a familiar voice call me, the voice was a soft and I already perceived who it was

“Mom” Lina called me.

My eyes opened slowly, then I sat up on the bed, and I welcomed with her silver eyes, “Lina” I said as I stared at my daughter.

Lina had a smile on her face, she sat on the bed close to me, then I smiled but it wasn't for long.

“Mom, can I ask you a question?” She inquired, her voice laced with curiously. I nodded my head which asserted that she could ask and I saw her smile again, couldn't detect what made her to neither did I care.

“Yes Lina” I replied her.

“The man who came here, do you two know each other?” She asked me.

I scoffed as I tried to brush it off, then I shrugged my shoulders , “Don't ask me such questions Lina” I replied, my course rising a bit. I wondered what she thought of Bryan and thought of me after the short meeting.

But she wasn't ready to back-down and neither am I going to give her an answer. “You said I can ask, who is the man?” She inquired again looking right into my eyes. "Is he papa?"

" Don't you dare say that again. " I yelled slightly loud, taking a deep breath as I stared at her.

I almost lost it but I tried to act cool as I replied her, “No more questions about him” my voice cold and blunt.

Lina took in her lips as she played with her fingers as she faced me with a sad face. She looked disappointed but it's not like I care. I love her so much, she was my companion but then I wouldn't want to transfer aggression on little Lina.

She got down from the bed and she went for the door. She was about to leave when my voice stopped her, “We're moving out” I paused as I tried to catch her reaction.

“Ok mom” she replied flatly and I sighed. She seemed unbothered.

Lina however left the room then I got up from the bed, ready to leave also. Then my phone buzzled, I went back into the room then picked it up from the table with heist.

It was a call, my smile grew wider as I saw who it was that called. I swiped green to accept the call.

“Omg guess what” I blurted out.

“What Sylvia?” a voice replied.

“I'm moving to the pack” I replied.

There was a pause from the other end and next, I heard a short chuckle, “Bryan won't see it coming” I added.
