Chapter Seventy-seven

Catherine's POV:

I was slowly starting to enjoy breakfast and dinner with Michael and the kids. The tension was no longer there and I could easily just speak to anyone without the fear of being talked back to really rudely. Michael constantly added a few chunks of meat into my plate from his as he was already filled up from eating so much pasta.

"I've always hated meatballs," he grimaced as he added another one onto Julia's plate. She giggled and showed it to Jason who ignored her. "It's not something I am used to eating. "

"The kids wanted it and you also said you wanted to try it out," I knifed through my meat as I continued to eat it. "I see no reason why you're backing out now."

Julia giggled. "Daddy, don't you like it?"

Harvey grimaced and shook his head. "I mean, I do. But not so much. I can manage to eat the pasta but the meatballs? Ugh."
