Chapter Eighty-three

Alpha Michael's POV:

The shrill ring of my phone permeated into my ears and I turned immediately, snatching it up from the cupholder beside me.

I decided that it was one of the men working towards rescuing Catherine and the kids that had called. I picked up the call just as I swerved into the next highway that led towards the northern part of the city.

I was going to pay Peter a visit. He surely had an idea of where my family was since all he had done in the past few months was remind me that I had to watch my back or else, he was going to strike really hard.

Hitting the gas once again, kept driving and brought the phone to my ears. "What's up?"

Sniffles came first and confused, I believed it was Catherine and hoped she had gotten a phone and snuck out to call me.

"Catherine?" I called again. "Is that you? Are you crying?"
