Chapter Eighty-four

Catherine's POV:

My eyes fluttered open and I realized that I had been asleep the whole time. Blinking, I looked above me and sighed before lifting my hand and wiping the sweat off my face.

A terrible headache billowed at the back of my head. I groaned softly and remained on the floor, noticing that my whole body was wet. When I finally planted my palm on the ground beside me, I realized that the whole floor was bathed in water. So was my body.

As the memories of how I had blanked out returned, my headache intensified. I slept softly and remained on the ground, wishing and hoping for this headache to pass.

But it didn't.

I remained on the floor for a long time, moving in and out of consciousness before a piercing scream had me sitting up with immediate effect.

"Oh, no," I groaned and fell on all fours, crawling around the room in search of the door. That scream. It sounded like it belonged to Julia.

Realization hit me and I went into a full blown panic
