Alpha Michael’s POV:

Seeing that Catherine didn't take to heart that I had forgotten her, I felt a bit relieved. At least, she understood that it happened in the process of saving her and the kids and that I'll soon regain my memory. That dude had a nice plan, acting like forgetting everything would bring them closer and make them happy because they would feel that I don't know them as my enemy any longer.

The look on John’s face revealed a partially successful game. To him, the next target is ruining my life and taking Catherine with the kids since I might not dodge him again and won't be conscious.

I’d have called him a monster if he was behind that incident because the kids still cherished his presence. I took two steps closer to him and looked at the kids on their faces, “They have no resemblance with you so there's no proof that you're their Daddy, and they never referred to you as any, instead they did that to me.” I furrowed my brows.
