Chapter: One Hundred & Thirty-two

ALPHA MICHAEL’S POV

The moment I stood up from my throne, the image of my kids flashed in my mind. I glanced at Catherine, hoping that they were okay. I've been speaking with the chief guard over there and he has always assured me that everything is okay. My next plan is to be able to connect with the cameras there from my laptop—I'll have to speak to the hacker about that.

The minister of Justice came forth since he was the next in command after the chief minister and his deputy, he signaled the guards at the door, and the door was opened. Two hefty men walked in with the corpse lying above them.

“Your Majesty, this is the corpse she murdered. Please look into this and let justice take over.” the minister of Justice uttered.

I sniffed. What an asshole? “Are you saying that I have never justified a case?”

He shook his head. “No, Your Majesty, please don't misunderstand me. This has to do with murder, and so you shouldn't let it slide.”
