Chapter: One Hundred & Five

Catherine's POV

Nine days later~

My kids were still on oxygen while I was on blood transfusion. We have been on treatment since when I can't tell, all I know is that I woke up to find myself in the hospital. At first, I had thought I was dead, not until a nurse walked in and told me that a young man saved us and brought us to the hospital.

But, she refused to disclose who the young man was. I was sure it wasn't Michael or was supposed to check on since then. no one had ever checked on us except for the doctors and nurses. Even when our meals were brought, they refused to tell us who sent them.

I didn't want to drag, all I wanted was to live and see my kids healthy. It happened that they had difficulty breathing today and then were fixed on oxygen.

Several times, I asked the nurses about Michael but they claimed not to know who that was. “Are we truly dead?'' I kept asking that to myself, but the assurance wasn't there.
