James’s POV

I could not remember the last time things had been so happy and relaxed. The only thing that we were worried about was what to eat. I was still shocked that I did not think about fried chicken. It is my favourite meal, and I didn’t even think about it. I smiled as I looked over at Jill curled up on Chad’s lap. I felt like she was the little sister that I never had. I was worried about what would happen to her when she was on her own. I knew she was strong, but I also know that she does not like been alone. I felt someone watching me and looked over to see Steve watching me watch Jill and he looked worried ‘You ok man’ I decided to use mind-link, so it was private.

‘Don’t try to change the plan’
