James’s POV

I did not want to tell Meg that I would be able to return back to the pack with no issues. My mum was an alcoholic. I would have to return every now and again to make sure that everything was ok and that my little brother was coping. He was so much better at dealing with her then I was. She turned to drink as soon as my dad died. I knew that loosing your mate was one of the worst pains that you could feel, but my brother was only 5 at the time. He needed his mum, we had both just lost our dad and we lost our mum at the same time. I was 10 and I have to step up as the man of the house and help to raise my little brother.
