Steve’s POVIt was nice to relax and do something normal without feeling like I had to be careful. Chad seemed to finally relax into the game as well. I hate keeping things from him, I didn’t want to ruin our friendship over this. Now I had faith that everything would work out and our friendship would survive. When James arrived home, I watched his reaction as Megan dragged him upstairs. I also noticed his backpack and that it looked like he had something large and heavy in there like an old book.
