One Hundred and Thirty Two

James’s POV

I could not believe that Megan had told Jill about the book. If we had come out two seconds later Chad would have known. I thought that we had gotten away with it until Jill started asking Chad questions. I pulled Megan close and growled in her ear “Why the hell did you tell her?”

“Because she asked me if I knew why Victoria and avoiding her”

“You could have lied” I growled

“I cant lie to her, I never have been able to. Maybe that’s one of her gifts”

I turned away from her to listen in on Chad and Jill. From the sounds of it he had no clue that she was gifted. The way he was talking he would know. I had my fingers and toes crossed that this made Jill think that everyone was just going crazy. They finally changed the subject and started to talk about Prom. I finally relaxed and pulled Megan into my lap “It seems that you have managed to look out”

“What do you mean?”

“I have a feeling that we are all nuts and if she was gifted that Chad would know”

“That’s what I don’t get,
