Watching Avery gaze at the dueling men with a captivated smile infuriated me. What was so fascinating about them?! I had to restrain myself from storming the stage and putting an end to the spectacle. Instead, I kept my eyes fixed on her, hoping she'd lose interest and leave.

As I watched her, my eyes suddenly to a guy dressed in all black. He was staring at Avery which made my brows furrow. He suddenly turned to me, our eyes locked and from here, I could see his eyes dilate slightly, but it didn't last cause he walked away. Tilting my head confusedly, I turned back to Avery who was still focused on the duel.

I rolled my eyes and continued watching her, still hoping she would leave. But she watched until the very end, leaving me wondering if she was really that enthralled.

As the duel finished, she walked away from the crowd into the streets, and I followed her. But she suddenly halted, her eyes fixed intently on something ahead. I followed
