Chapter Forty Seven

Groaning lowly, my eyes fluttered open, scanning the area. I was in a small room, which was a bit dark, the sun emitting through the small window which was the size of a purse gave it light.

Looking down at myself, I realized I was tied to a chair, which made my brows furrow. How did I get here and why am I tied to a chair? I was still trying to figure what was happening when I heard footsteps and then, the door opened.

Curiosity enveloped me as I watched as the person walked in. It was a tall man who was fully bearded and had a stoic face.

"Who are you? Why am I here?" I let out my question slowly and quietly.

"That's not something you need to know." His voice came out harsh and it almost made me scoff

"What do you mean I don't need to know when you brought me here? Why am I here?!" I snapped and he chuckled. "Acting all powerful? Well, you will know when she comes."

My brows furrowed. "She? Who is that?"

"That's me." The door opened and a lady stepped in - Lisa.
