Chapter Forty Eight

JARED

I pulled into the garage of my pack house and turned off the engine.

As I stepped out of the car, another car pulled up in front of me and Lisa came out, a huge smile appeared on her face when shs saw me.

"Jared, you are finally back!" She exclaimed as she rushed to me.

I ignored her and tried to walk away but she grabbed my arm, holding me back.

"Let go!" Whipping my head towards her, I growled out but she shook her head, and I felt her hand tighten around mine.

"You're just coming after many days and you won't – "

"Fucking let go!" I yelled and drew hands forcefully from her before storming inside, heading straight for my father's suite.

After spending the whole night trying to find Avery, it was all to no avail. I decided to come here instead, with one person in mind, which was my father. He dislikes Avery and was the only one with the ability to take Avery hostage.
