Aurora pov 

Rising up to the challenge, my twins weren't easy to care for, especially while also building a career. I watched them grow from days to months to years.

As I navigated the ups and downs of motherhood and entrepreneurship, the alpha remained a constant presence in our lives. I turned to look at him, confused, as I slowly removed my notepad from my small bag with my other hand.

"Can we talk? Please can we?" the alpha asked, raising his eyebrow. I took a deep breath, nodding. We walked outside the house to the garden, sitting down as the moon was our light in the cold breeze.

"What do you want to talk about?" I wrote, "Aurora."

"I don't know," alpha said, "but I would have to tell you... I am having feelings for you." I froze, my pen dropping from my hand.

I stared at the alpha, my heart racing with surprise. I hadn't expected him to confess his feelings, and I didn't know how to respond.

The alpha's eyes locked onto mine, his gaze burning with intensity. "I know it may seem sudden," he said, his voice low and husky. "But from the moment I met you, I knew there was something special about you. The way you care for yourself and your handwork, the way you've grown and thrived despite everything... I admire you, Aurora. And I think I might be falling in love with you."

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. No one had ever said those words to me before, and I didn't know how to process them. I sat there, frozen, as the alpha's words hung in the air...

"Hello, are you there?" the alpha asked, waving his hand in my face.

I blinked, snapping back to reality. "Nooding my head, to show him I understand," I was feeling uncomfortable and his voice barely above a whisper to the next word that he was about to say.

The alpha's face was etched with concern, his eyes scanning mine as if searching for a sign of what I was thinking. "Aurora, I'm sorry if I caught you off guard," he said, his voice soft and gentle. "I just needed to be honest with you."

I took a deep breath, trying to process my emotions. I looked down at my hands, still clasped together in my lap, and slowly began to nod. "To show I appreciate his honesty," , my hand still shaking.

The alpha's face lit up with a small smile, and he reached out to gently brush a strand of hair behind my ear. "I'm glad you're not running away from me," he said, his voice low and teasing...

I felt a shiver run down my spine as his fingers grazed my skin. It was a gentle, intimate touch, and it sent a spark of electricity through my body.
