I almost laughed out loud when I saw the message.

Did Ruby even know that Nolan was the one refusing to divorce now?

"Would you have the time to do this if he really wanted to marry you?" I replied to her.

However, she didn't respond to me.

Maybe she didn't know what to say. I should thank her because without her, I wouldn't have known the truth about Nolan's so-called business meetings.

That afternoon, I got an unexpected guest.

When Lucy heard the guest was looking for me, she let Ruby in and went out to run errands.

I bumped into Ruby when I stepped out of my room.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

Ruby smiled in delight as she looked around the house as if she were inspecting her future home.

"It's beautiful! Everything is how I've always imagined my dream house would look like."

Ruby's mood shifted when she saw my expressionless face.
