Just as I was about to rush out, another message came in. I opened it and read quietly to myself, trembling.

"I do know you are rich but the person you are about to face, I will advise you to be careful. I found out about her location because the person wanted me to find out not that I found it myself."

Upon seeing this message, I was torn between feelings of fear and relief. My heart felt like it was racing, as I was unsure of what to do next. Part of me wanted to go out and tell them, while another part wanted to sit and think carefully about my next move.

I knew that telling Mason might not be helpful, as he might not believe me and even if he did, he would likely charge in without caution regardless of whether the person he faced was stronger than him. Elena was involved after all.
