Chapter eighty seven

Dominic hesitated briefly before proposing, "How about we skip going to the supermarket today?" Kathy's face scrunched up in concern as she pointed out, "But there's nothing in the fridge. If we don't go to the supermarket, what will we eat tonight?"

Suggesting an alternative, Dominic said, "Let's try CC instead. The food there is quite good."

Overwhelmed by hunger, Kathy accidentally choked on her saliva and coughing uncontrollably. Dominic rushed to her side, patting her back until she caught her breath.

Once composed, Kathy looked at Dominic with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes and questioned, "You want to go to a noisy place like CC?"

Defending his choice, Dominic raised an eyebrow and replied, "It's lively there, not too bad."

Exhausted by the discussion, Kathy rolled her eyes at Dominic, grabbed her bag, and declared, "Let's just go to the supermarket! No more arguments!"
