Chapter ninety four

"Oh, my dreadful words," Kathy bemoaned, tapping her forehead. "It's fine, let's just pretend I was being silly earlier." She then whispered to herself, "Beauty has the power to destroy a nation..."

Dominic, who had been a witness to it all, began with a soft chuckle, but soon his laughter escalated. It wasn't derisive, but rather a genuine outburst that originated deep within him. The charming man, coupled with his infectious laughter, was like a fresh spring breeze, invigorating and calming.

Kathy was left speechless by the whole scene.

"Shall we go?" Dominic abruptly turned off the car and motioned to unfasten his seatbelt.

"Go?" Kathy asked incredulously. "Are you just leaving the car on the street?"

"Yes," Dominic affirmed. "The traffic is already terrible, and the concert hasn't even begun. It's not going to get better for at least three hours."

"Agreed," Kathy nodded. "But considering the traffic congestion, walking to the restaurant isn't feasible, is it?"
