Chapter Nine

Lee’s Mansion.

“You just got back and the first thing you did was to get involved with a random woman? Have you forgotten you are engaged to the first daughter of the Millers'?” Mr. Lee growled at his grandson, Tristan.

Abruptly, his left hand flew to his chest as he winced in pain, and the other hand curled tightly around the handle of his swivel chair for support.

Tristan darted towards him, his hands gently lowered him into the chair. “You are not in good health, do you have to raise your voice when speaking?”

“I will stop raising my voice when you listen to your grandfather.” Mr. Lee said. He had brought up Tristan since he was twelve after the tragic death of his parents.

Tristan had always believed that his parents’ death was not natural but caused by his uncle, Raymond. Only that his grandfather was trying to cover it up for some reasons that he couldn't fathom. One of the reasons why he decided to take his father's name as his last name.
