“Mom… mom.” Janet pushed Rim gently with her shaky hands and when she didn’t respond Janet picked her head up and placed it on her lap.

“Mom, wake up, don’t scare me.” Rim patted her face and tried to wake her up.

Janet was at a loss, looking at her mother’s lifeless body.

It was like her life was falling apart.

As much as Rim is alone With Janet, the same applies to Janet too.

They were only supporting each other.

“Mom.” Janet’s tears were rolling down uncontrollably.

She left Rim’s lifeless body on the floor and tried to get up, but fell back as her body lost balance.

But she couldn’t show her weakness at this moment.

She picked up the landline and called for an ambulance.

The ambulance came within fifteen minutes, but these fifteen minutes were like a year to Janet.

When they reached the hospital, Rim was pushed inside the ER and Janet could only wait outside helplessly.

She was pacing the floor anxiously, and it took ages for anyone to inform her what happened to Rim.
