Chapter 65

After being shattered and thrown out of her domain, my heavy steps, my ravaged heart, I walked out of her shades.

My soul was throbbing badly, countless agonizing thoughts were rendering me unable to perceive anymore but my state couldn’t be fixed anymore.

I fell. Horribly.

With void eyes filling with tears, I was praying to walk where I would never return to her again and to enhance the anguish overwhelming me, King Hadrian came to mock me.

Closing my eyes, I stopped in my tracks, feeling my clench increasing at his comment.
