Chapter Three.

For the next one hour, Leila couldn't move or stand up.

She remained in the same position, until the pain from the rejection subsided.

Taking the divorce paper which was flung on the ground earlier, she took a pen and signed it, tears slipping down her eyes.

Thinking of the wasted three years, it brought more tears to her eyes.

When she got married to Alpha Enzo, she had thought she would be able to make him fall in love with her as seen in the movies and romance books, but it never happened.

He barely comes home, never comes close to her again after finding out that she was barren, and always ignores her.

The only time Leila experienced his warmth was when they were outside the pack house or in the midst of crowds.

He pretended to love and care for her for the sake of his status as an Alpha.

After signing the divorce papers, her eyes darted to the briefcase containing the supposed divorce alimony.

She took the pen once again and wrote on a piece of paper, “ you can keep your money. Use it to take care of your unborn pup.”

Leila let out a sad sigh as she stood up, heading towards her room to get her things and leave the pack as soon as possible.

Alpha Enzo already made it clear har he didn't want to see her when he got back, so she had to go, leaving no trace behind.

“ Hello Bluey, where are you?” Leila spoke up once the call connected.

“ Care to explain what happened last night?” came the angry voice of Bluey.

“ I will explain once I get to your place, where are you now?” Leila asked once again.

“ I'm currently in a meeting. I had to suspend the meeting just to attend your wedding anniversary last night.” 

“ I'm sorry, Bluey.” Leila muttered, her voice filled with remorse.

“ Can we talk once I'm back from work? My keys are with me. Just hang around until I'm back from work.” Bluey said in a low voice.

“ Okay, get back to work.” Leila hung up and inhaled a large amount of air.

“ It feels good to be out of that suffocating pack house.” She let out a small smile.

Checking through her purse, she was left with just one thousand dollars, causing a sigh to escape her lips.

“ What do I do with this 1k dollars?” She muttered and looked around, until her eyes came across a bar.

A smile appeared on her lips as she dragged her luggage with her towards the bar.

“ It's a good thing that no one recognizes Luna.” 

Upon getting to the bar, she ordered tequila and gulped it down her throat.

Despite the burn she felt in her throat, she never stopped drinking.

“ This feels good. At least, I would be able to forget my sorrows.” She smiled, her voice tipsy with alcohol.

She threw her hand in the air.

Leila raised the glass of tequila to her lips and wanted to gulp it down her throat, but a hand caught hers, stopping her from drinking.

“ Drinking doesn't fit someone like you. Quit drinking.” a deep voice stopped her from drinking.

“ Who are you?” Leila frowned and dropped the glass of tequila.

“ I asked, who the hell are you?” She asked again, obviously annoyed.

“ Someone you might want to know.” He replied, a sly smile dancing at the corners of his lips.

“ I don't care who you're, can you just let me be?” Leila raised her voice in annoyance.

She already had a bad day, and didn't want any stranger to add to her anger.

“ No, I won't. I couldn't stop staring since you came.” He said and leaned back on the chair, smiling brightly.

Leila didn't know when she began to stare at the stranger.

He was more handsome than Alpha Enzo could ever be, with long black hair and chiselled jawline.

“ You've fallen for me, haven't you?” He leaned closer towards her, his face just an inch away.

“ I wasn't staring. Why would I?” Leila cleared her throat and looked away, her cheeks red in embarrassment.

“ You look sad.” The stranger said straightforwardly, earning a sad smile from Leila.

“ Was it that obvious?” She asked, turning her gaze towards the stranger.

“ Yes, it is, because what else could make you come to a bar with your luggage and drink yourself to stupor.” 

He chuckled, looking down towards her luggage.

“ I got divorce today.” She chuckled bitterly and gulped down the glass of tequila.

“ Why did you get a divorce?” He asked, curiosity taking the best part of him.

“ I'm barren. I wasn't able to give birth to him.” She replied, trying her best not to tear up.

“ Your Ex- husband is a jerk, pardon me for saying that.” He said and Leila smiled widely for the very first time in three years.

She continued staring at him for some seconds before blurting out, “ Have sex with me.”

Leila was so straight forward that it caught the stranger by surprise.

“ Why would I do such a thing?” He raised a brow, obviously interested.

“ No idea, I just feel like I need someone inside of me. I haven't had sex in a year, and since I'm a free woman, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have one now.” 

“ So what makes you think I will have sex with you after listening to your sad story?” 

He drew his face closer to hers, fanning her with his hot breath.

“ Because you reached out to me first.” She replied.

“ You're a drunken mess, you will definitely regret it once you wake up tomorrow.” He whispered into her ears, causing her breath to hitch.

“ I don't care.” Leila replied.

“ I'm a devil in bed. You won't be able to walk tomorrow.” 

He whispered, his deep seductive voice made Leila's body tinged with desire.

He led her to a hotel room and in less than five minutes, the room was filled with the smell of sex and Leila’s moans.

The stranger reached his climax and poured his seeds into Leila before collapsing beside her on the bed.
