~Jake~
I told myself not to cry. I told myself crying makes me weak, and the fact that my friends teased me that entire day, saying that I was a crybaby, annoyed me to hell.
I couldn’t help it. She was damn beautiful that day. I found it hard to believe how lucky I am to be waiting for her at the altar. The moment she entered the church holding Damien’s arm, wearing the dress as white as snow, it made her tanned skin stand out.
That day is still vivid in my head. How that strapless gown hugged her upper body down to her waist as the skirt flowed while she walked to where I waited. It’s a magical moment. The images of us together slipped into my head like a fast-forward play of a movie.
“Dad!” The sound of little balls of energy running down the stairs of our house pulled my eyes from gazing at our wedding picture, preparing myself for impact. “Dada!”
Althea, our eldest, who is turning five next month, jumped in my arms from the fourth step, giggling when I caught her with ease. She has the eyes of her mother, and hair as pale as mine. I can see the fire in her eyes, something she inherited from her mother’s side as well.
“Dada…” J.J. pouted, climbing on the sofa behind me, raising his little hands up. He’s two years younger than Althea, but he’s a handful at times. I told Bobbie not to name him after me because I was afraid he’d turn out to be a headache. She insisted, though, seeing my eye color reflecting in his hues the moment he opened his eyes. I knew I was a handful growing up. My mother never forgets to remind Bobbie and me every time she’d have dinner over.
Shifting Althea on my right side, I picked up J.J. from the couch and carried them both to the kitchen, where the aroma of sweet waffles and pancakes was coming from.
“Handsome,” Bobbie glanced over her shoulder, too busy flipping our breakfast from the fan. “Coffee?”
I put Althea and J.J. in their seats, giving them their glasses of milk before turning to wrap my arms around Bobbie’s four-month baby bump. “Let me do that for you.”
“You’re sweaty,” Bobbie giggled when I kissed her shoulder, gliding my lips through the slender columns of her neck. She had her inky hair tied in a messy bun, while the spaghetti-strapped dress she was wearing gave me good access to her skin.
I’ve just finished my morning run. I got a bit caught up chatting with my brother, who lives next door, and Bobbie beat me to make breakfast again.
“Eww, Dad,” Althea faked a sound of puking, making Bobbie and I laugh loudly.
This has been our daily routine for the last six years since our wedding. After learning that she was pregnant with Althea, Bobbie gave up her crazy liking for dangerous stunts and became a housewife. We moved back here to Santa Barbara, and Damien gifted us this beach house. Bobbie sold her grandparents’ house and donated the money to charity. That place holds many memories of her childhood. Some are pretty, and some will remain gloomy, but it’s all behind us now. We’re creating new ones; that’s one of my promises to her.
I didn’t mainly give up on my football career; only now, I work as a coach for the school football team while I manage the Bunker. Michael had to move to L.A. to oversee the newly opened branch there. Jack visits from time to time, patiently teaching me everything I had to know about business.
~~
“Do you remember the first day we met?” seated on the balcony of our room, drinking tea while gazing up at the starry night, Bobbie mumbled, leaning closer to me for warmth.
I grabbed the neatly folded blanket on my side, draping it over her cold shoulder, wrapping my arms around her tightly. “You, running from that little creature?”
She giggled, nodding. “We’ve come a long way, haven’t we?”
I sighed. “It feels like everything happened just yesterday. Except that you’re on your way in giving me the third member of my football team.”
Bobbie gasped, pushing away from me, blinking her eyes rapidly as the blanket dropped on the couch.
“What?” I asked innocently.
“A football team?”
I shrugged my shoulders, “okay. A basketball team then.”
She slapped my shoulder playfully; I faked hurt, rubbing where she hit me. “I can’t even handle three annoying brats, and you want to add more?”
“Wait, the third brat hasn’t come out yet….” I inquired, confused, but then I realized she included me in those brats she counted. “Hey, I’m a good boy.”
She huffed, crossing her arms above her cute baby bump. “No, you’re not.”
“Am too…” I said with a pout, scooting closer to her, kissing her cheeks. “I’ll buy you a new vase tomorrow.” She was still mad at us for breaking the vase she brought from Athens. I was teaching J.J. to kick a football after breakfast when I suddenly hit it too hard, smashing the vase instead. I got an earful of lectures from her, to not teach our kids to play ball in the living room.
“That vase is a wedding gift!” she hissed, pulling away from my hold.
“It’s just a vase, Bee.” I groaned.
Here we go again. I remember when Bobbie was pregnant with Althea; she asked me to buy her strawberry-flavored ice cream in the middle of the night. I drove to town just to buy her one. When I returned and handed the ice cream pint to her, she didn’t like the smell and told me that I had bought the wrong flavor.
It was an awful and painful experience until her third trimester. She would cry over silly things, and I always had to ask mom for advice. Now her tantrums are back again. Good thing that it only happens when she’s with me and not in front of our kids.
“How can you say that?” she snarled. “It's a gift, Jake!”
When her hormones are flaring like this, there was only one thing that could calm her down. And I’m fucking down for it.
“Come on, Bee,” I forced my arms around her waist, scooping her in my lap, careful not to hurt her at the same time. “I’m sorry for breaking that stupid vase. Let me make it up to you.”
I didn’t give her time to utter a word, knowing well that it’ll only prolong this conversation. Instead, I crushed my lips on her sweet mouth, silencing her, devouring her sweet lips.
Bobbie smiled against my kiss. I knew this trick would work. There was never just a kiss between us when we were alone. Having sex with her while she’s pregnant is so damn satisfying. The glint in her eyes tells me that she’s down for it.
She giggled when I carried her inside the room, laying her gently on the bed.
“Do you promise?” she moaned when I began undoing the buttons of her dress, taking my leisure time, enjoying her body.
“Promise.” I kissed her lips once more. “Now, more making babies and less talking.”
“I’m already pregnant, Jake,” she groaned, giggling.
“Yeah?” I pulled back, taking her with me to push her dress off of her shoulder, leaving her sexy body for my consumption. “Is it possible to, you know, have another baby inside you… like twins?”
She rolled her eyes, fisting the hem of my shirt. “And you say you’re a good boy?”
I chuckled, pushing her back on the bed, hovering over her, mindful not to crush her beneath me. “I’m your bad boy, baby….”

And that’s a wrap, Loves. I hope you enjoyed this journey with Bobbie and Jake. Thank you again for the love and support you’ve given this story. Till next time ;)

This scene would be an alternate reality if that rooftop episode didn’t happen. ;) ~Bobbie~ I kept punching and kicking until memories of Jake and that blond were out of my head. They look so cozy. “Poor dummy,” Priya’s voice brought me out of trance. I rolled my eyes. “I wish I don’t have feelings like this punching bag.” She takes a seat on the wooden chair while sipping her coffee. I’m in their place outside of town, and I didn’t realize that I’d confined to her. She once made it her life’s mission to make my life miserable, but here we are now. ~Bobbie~ The girls were ready to go out, and so were the boys. We walked out of Mel’s room and found them already drinking and fooling around. These men cleaned up well, but my eyes were fixed on Jake, at least when he wasn’t looking at me. He was wearing a simple polo and fitted jeans, and I think they plan to go clubbing as well. “Bobbie,” I stiffened when I heard Jake’s voice so close to me. He sounded as if he already had too much to drink. With his hand gripping my arm, he dragged me to the patio, away from our friends. “What?” I snarled, hauling my arm from his grip. I’m still pissed about seeing him with Elise. My eyes locked with his but the look on his hues rendered me speechless. I was wearing a red cocktail sp
~Bobbie~ ~Last night~ “I’m Adonis, and I’ll make you happy, Athena.” “Sorry, Bobbie,” Mel muttered beside me. “I can’t do this thing alone.” “It’s your bachelorette party, Mel,” I groaned and shivered when I felt a calloused hand grazing my knee. “You’ll be sorry for this later, Melissa,” I hissed, and again, the hands drew circles on my inner thigh, rising higher and higher. Mel was moaning beside me, and I could hear the girls giggling and laughing gingerly. Those same hands now held both of mine and guided it somewhere in front of me. My hands came against a warm solid skin - very toned skin must be his chest. He guided my hands down to his abs, and he has a good pack, 8 packs I counted. “Oh G

He was the perfect solution to my problems, but there was only one condition he asked before promising me his ‘I do.’ “Don’t fall for me,” was his unbreakable rule. I laughed at him that day, thinking how easy it is to follow his stupid rule. I’m in love with my ex-fiance, his younger brother Calvin, so what could possibly go wrong? I agreed without hesitation, seeing him as the ticket out of my life’s predicament. Like a raging wave, the realization of my vow’s weight crashed on me.
Grief. An unwelcome feeling that is quenching my heart. The dusk overseeing my window is mirroring how I feel, cold and aloof. ~~ Seven forty am. It will take me about three minutes to walk into my first class, hopefully. I’m clutching Rover’s steering wheel so tight that my knuckles turn white. It had been three weeks since my grandparents died in a car accident. Apparently, mourning can’t take forever like I wanted. Here I am, in front of the school that used to be my second home. Most of the kids my age would think of school as hell - not me - not until now. I hate to face everyone and see pity in their eyes, which would definitely be hell. Deep breaths, in and out. I ignore the wild trembling of my hands. Unlocking the door, I took my Nike backpack, and swung it
After changing into my jeans and sweater, I walked to the bleachers, watching the football team’s practice. Jake was in his element whenever he’s in the field. His love for football is the same way I love cheering, and I know the news of me leaving the team for a while will break his heart. The same way it did mine. He gave me a toothy grin and waived like a kid when he saw me. I blew him a kiss and his teammates teased him like they’re children. Jake is showy of his affection when it comes to me, unlike his previous relationships. Girls were practically falling at his feet. I saw him make out with girls in the hallway, cafeteria, gym, field, and even at classrooms and janitors’ closets. He is practically everywhere with a girl clinging on his neck like a snake. Different girls every week and sometimes, every day. I don’t approve of what he did, but I also do
The smell of brewed coffee and maple syrup on chocolate pancakes woke me up. There was also a foreign smell around, some soup I guess. I felt calloused fingers tracing my nose, cheek, lip, and chin. It was Jake’s warm hands.I snuggled deeper into my duvet and smiled before opening my eyes. Jake’s tawny eyes met mine, and he gave me a megawatt smile.“Good morning, beautiful,” he kissed the top of my head.“Good morning, handsome,” I pulled him closer to me, burying my face in the crook of his neck.“Where do you want your breakfast, Bee?” He pulled away from me but still close enough for me to peck his lips.“Can we just stay in for today?” my puppy eyes were at wor
I hopped back into my Land Rover with a grin plastered on my face. West’s residence is a five-minute drive away, and I knocked gleefully before I was lifted into the air by big muscular arms.“Bobbie,” Jack squirmed like a girl, but his voice was too deep to be a girl. “Looking good, kiddo.” He put me down and ruffled my hair.“You’re not so bad yourself, Jacky,” I said while taking his look in. He was more buff than before, he could probably crush hollow blocks with those muscular biceps. “You sure beat Dwayne Johnson in the gym, Jack!” I teased before Esther called both of our names from the kitchen.Jack took a slice of pizza while walking to the kitchen with me. “I mish twish.” He stated in a muffled voice.

~Bobbie~ There are still people who believe in destiny. Some might find it funny and childish. I, for one and for a long time, forgot how much happiness believing in destiny brings. ~~ I remember when I first met Jake. That annoying boy who took amusement in watching me run away from that little beast in Nonna’s garden. It’s payback time. I’ve been suppressing the fit of giggle that wanted to erupt from my tummy just by looking at Jake’s paling cheeks. He’s been chewing on his lips since the plane took off. His glove-covered, slender fingers clutched mine so tight that I could feel my veins losing blood. Dressed in a blue and white freefly jumpsuit, Jake and I sat on the Ces

There was something in his green eyes that gave me chills.“Damon,” I warned, “I know that look.”He brushed my threat off. “What look?”I huffed, “whatever you’re planning, stop it. ~Jake~The wedding was beautiful, but my eyes were fixed on Bobbie and not on the groom and bride. She never fails to enchant me with her beauty. She was wearing a simple light blue gown, matching the dress shirt I was wearing, the same theme with the entire entourage. It only differs in the shade. The pleated sleeveless dress, with the keyhole neckline, is teasing me with the little skin she’s flaunting. A part of her cleavage is showing, and I longed to run my fingers and lips over her creamy soft skin while watching her squirm under me.Damn. I’ve never wanted anyone as much as I wanted her. The way my dress pants tightened is proof of that. The ceremony was peaceful and filled with love and happiness for the newlyweds. To make this wedding much more intim
~Bobbie~Our friends were dead serious about locking Jake and me out here until morning. I don’t mind though. There was enough firewood to keep us warm through the night and there was another set of an actual tent with sleeping bags for our disposal. They prepared a lot of food for us as well. How thoughtful was that? I mentally laughed at their support for our love. There was even a note that said, ‘you two are not allowed inside the house in the morning unless you un-break your break up.’I have no doubt that this was Mel and Candice’s idea. They’re the only ones bold enough to get on my bad side this way. They knew I would never hate them, though.Jake and I got rid of the satin tent and its sparkling romantic lights, put up the tent we w
