Chapter 10

Alpha Jase POV

“Please let me go”

Sitting in the back of the car, I pull the source of the voice back towards me. I had found a new bloodline Omega and she was now all mine. Before the week was out she would be marked and mates by me and then she will forever be mine. I feel saliva dripping from my canines as I looked at her, her eyes covered by a blindfold so she didn’t know which direction she’s was going in. I couldn’t risk her finding her way back. Her life was now with me and my mates.

“No. I’ve been searching for you for years and there’s no way I am giving you up now” I growled at her.

We arrived at the pack house of the Darkmoon Pack. As I climb out the car I’m greeted by my mates Damon and Leo. I smirk at them and stick my head back in the car.

“I have a surprise for you” I say grinning and pull Maggie from the car. She had given up fighting and I scooped her up carrying her towards the house and down to the basement, locking her in a cage I had built for prisoners. I could see the saliva dripping off their canines as they stared at this petite girl sitting on the floor. I take her blindfold off and we are struck by her eyes. Grey with a green flame. Where had I seen eyes like that before?

“Please please let me go. I want to go home to my mum” she pleaded at us.

“You are home, little omega” I teased her licking my lips.

“No you don’t understand I need to go back to my parents. Who are you? Where are we? She continued holding the bars of the cage.

“Where you are is not important. You are in the Darkmoon territory and I’m Alpha Jase. These are my two mates Damon and Leo.” I say gesturing towards them. They both advance towards the cage as Maggie stumbles back against the wall.

“Why am I here? I want to go home!” She mumbles from the corner. Her whining was starting to get on my nerves.

“You are here because I want and need you here. Now stop with the questions” she frowns at me and continues to shout about going home. I force myself into the cage and tower over her. “You are not going anywhere so you might as well zip it before I do it for you”

Maggie stares at me too frightened to move, I lean in, inhale her scent and run my canines over her neck. Knowing I was going to be mating and marking her sent me wild. I could do it now but I know she would fight. From what I had read about Pure Omegas is that they are far more powerful than regular Omegas, they nearly match an Alphas strength.

I pick her up and press her against the wall, my knee splitting her thighs apart as she wrestled against me. I push my knee high up against her mound, holding her off the floor.

“Listen Omega, you WILL produce heirs for my pack and for my mates. You WILL obey us and do everything that we ask. Otherwise…” I trail off and leave the cage only to return a couple of minutes later with a leather whip. I pat the whip against my hand, allowing the sound to bounce round the room. Every slap on my hand made her flinch and try to move away. I run the whip across her jaw, down her arm and to her waist. I give her a quick slap with the whip and she groans, her body bucking in pain as a nice red mark covers he side.

“You understand” I repeat to her. I stare at her, my aura crushing her but I had noticed it didn’t have much as an effect as the other Omegas. She stares at me not responding which caused my blood to boil.

“YOU UNDERSTAND ME? Do I have to use this properly the first day you get here. You have one rule and that is to obey” I bellow at her, and she still doesn’t respond. I look at my mates who join us in the cage. They take Maggie from me and pin her against the wall and pull her top up revealing her back. I swipe the whip across her back 3 times, causing her to cry out and deep welts appear on her skin. My cock throbbed in my pants at the sight of her squirming and crying. Omegas are breeders that it, we do not treat them as they have feelings. They have a use and I will make sure Maggie fulfils hers.

ZANTE POV

At this moment in time I wish I had ignored everything I had told myself and marked Maggie as soon as I knew we were destined. That way I could have spoken to her through the bond. I dread to think of her unable to contact any of us and in an environment like the one Alpha Jase had created.

My phone buzzes in my pocket and I throw it at Zev to read while im driving

“I know this isn’t work related. You’re lying to me about something. I want to talk when you get home” zev reads out loud. I didn’t even need to ask who it was from. Stacey. I roll my eyes at Zev and he hits the call button. I have now had enough, Stacey has over stepping her mark too often now and she is about to learn who is alpha.

“What” Stacey says deadpan the phone.

“You are right it is not work related. I didn’t want to do it this way but you now have given me no option. I have found our destined mate and she has been taken. I didn’t want to say anything to you until I was sure, but now I know. I haven’t mentioned her or anything to you as I wanted to be respectful but as you are not showing me the respect I SHOULD get as Alpha; I will not be returning it”

I hear Stacey take a deep breath and then the phone line cuts off. I check my mobile and see my signal had disappeared. Not exactly the way I wanted to do this, but it’s happened. She will be getting a shock when I find and bring Maggie back to the pack house.

“Well, at least she knows now” Zev mumbles. I could feel the relief through the bond but also, I could feel they were dreading going back home and facing Stacey. I shake my head, my heart longed for Maggie, but I couldn’t help feeling slightly sorry for Stacey. It wasn’t her fault that we had found our destined mate and it wasn’t her.

I call our head fighter and tell him to get a team together and meet us on the outskirts of the Darkmoon Territory. The sun was already setting, and we wouldn’t get to the territory until the early hours of the morning. Kodan’s phone buzzes and I can hear the shrieking of Stacey down the line. He holds the phone away from his ear and all I heard before the line died was “I’m not going anywhere” Oh we are going to have some fun when we get back. I shake myself and pin the gas more, Heath was trying to surface so we could get there quicker, but it would raise too many alarms, the three of us barrelling along in wolf form.

MAGGIE POV

I must have fallen asleep for a few hours, as when I opened my eyes, I could see, through a tiny window, it was now dark outside. I see a tray filled with food pushed under the bars and suddenly feel my stomach rumble. I didn’t get the bread and soup I had been offered last time; I had a plate full of different foods. I sniff the food trying to detect any hint of poison in the food, nothing.

“Glad to see you have eaten” Leo purrs through the door. He unlocks the door and stands over me. “How is your back? He questions and I could see a hint of concern flicker across his eyes.

“It’s fine” I say quietly, wrapping my arms around myself. Leo places his hands on my shoulders, causing me to flinch but I force myself to meet his gaze. He slowly turns me around and pulls my torn shirt aside and runs his fingers over the nearly healed welts. He pushes a pile of clothes into my hand, picks up my empty tray, before heading to the door.

“You’ll be eating with us later” he says over his shoulder. I nod in response and watch him leave, surprised to see that he doesn’t lock the door. “There is a bathroom with a shower, just down the corridor, its nicer than what you have here. Just don’t tell Jase I let you wander” Leo explains, running his fingers through his hair, before leaving, locking the main cellar door.

I suddenly feel Lyra stir in my mind; I hadn’t felt her since I was thrown in the back of the car. She raises her head at me and whimpers, we were too far away from Zante and his mates, and it was destroying her. I needed to get out of here, not just for me but for her.

I pad round the cellar, trying to find any small hole for escape but this place was locked down, the only window was the one in my cell and that was covered in bars and locked. The bathroom was quite the surprise, whitewash walls, bright white appliances and brand-new fluffy towels. I have no idea how long i have before they return to take me away, so i quickly fill the bath and sink into the warm water. Lyra once again stirs and i feel her relax.

'Maggie, we need to get out of here. I can't stand this place' She whimpers, flashing images of Zante, Kodan and Zev across my mind. This made me miss them so much and wondered if they even knew I was missing. Mom must have noticed by now, but with how distant i had been recently, I wouldn't be surprised if she thought I was hiding in my den and didn't want to talk.

An hour or so later, Damon returns and glares at me through the bars. I had cleaned myself up and got dressed into the clothes Leo had handed me, Leo seemed to be the softer of the three, he showed some concern about my wellbeing. I am taken upstairs and into a large dining room, where Alpha Jase was sat at the head of a very long oak table. Black chandeliers hung above our heads and the walls were draped in blood red tapestries, depicting what must have been the rise of the Darkmoon pack.

I quietly take my seat next to Alpha Jase and keep my head down while the others settled across from me. His hand slides under the table and grabs my knee, before holding the chair and pulling him closer to him. He stares at me and gestures for me to move onto his lap. I was starting to get the impression that Alpha Jase was all about power and status.

Reluctantly moving onto his lap, just to keep the peace, his hand instantly finds my breast and begins to massage it. My skins crawls as he runs his nose up my neck and to my ear before he nibbles it.

"Very obedient today aren't we" he whispers in my ear, sending all the hairs on the back of my neck on end. His spoke softly but I could hear the venom in his voice. If I was going to get out of here i was going to have to play along for now under, I had more idea of where we were. He pulls me square onto his lap and I can feel his erection through his trousers, it disgusted me, and I could feel Lyra trying to push through to shift but I couldn't allow it.
