“Where do you think you are headed to?” Alan asked through Leon, his voice hard and husky. I watched his wolf’s eye turn into a mixture of yellow and blazing red, before clearing my throat to speak.

“Where we are going to shouldn’t be any of your business. Pretend like you didn’t see us and allow us go our way.”

Alan scoffed arrogantly at my words and before I knew it, his wolf was coming closer to us, intimidating us with its size and energy. Freya and Chloe’s wolf moved slowly to hide behind me, allowing me to deal with the intensity of Leon’s gaze alone.
